AYUSHEXCIL Vision
To protect, promote, propagate and encourage the development, commerce, trade and export of traditional Indian healthcare systems/ Ayush systems including herbs, products and services for the growth of Ayush industry.
AYUSHEXCIL Mission
- Educate and safeguard the scientific research in field of Ayush healthcare science.
- Facilitate coordination amongst the Government and Private sector involved in the field of Ayush products & services.
- Coordinate and facilitate Industry & Institutions involved in the training, research, manufacture and sale of Ayush products & services.
- Work with foreign stakeholders including FDAs.
- Undertake market studies in various foreign countries on regular as well as ad hoc basis; and send out industry driven trade missions to foreign countries
- Amplify awareness about the Ayush systems & promote wider use of Ayush products.
- Establish connect and work closely with FDAs of different countries.
- Develop network of importers and increase the market potential of domestic products worldwide.
- Foster interaction of stakeholders and market development of Ayush products & services at international level.
- Support international exchange of experts and information for promotion and propagation of Ayush systems.
- Map the global demand of Ayush products from different countries.
- Coordinate country delegations & facilitate foreign regulators visit to India.
Role of Council
The Council is mandated to support the Ayush Industry in terms of direct marketing, structured promotional events, sensitization drives and capacity building sessions on a regular basis so as to disseminate the strength of traditional systems of healthcare and magnifying the Ayush Industry.
- Make representations to Government of India, other agencies in India and to related international abroad to get amicable solutions for the common problems of the industry. Make suggestions to Govt. of India on policy issues relating to Ayurveda products exports
- Issue of Certificate of Origin (COO)
- Issue Registration cum Membership Certificate (RCMC)
- Organizing periodical Seminars/Interactive meetings on export related issues
- Assisting members to get their MAI (Market Access Incentives) claims refunded from Govt. of India
